The only variables in my "experiment" were the vehicles and keys -- not steps, not ambient noise. I repeated them many times in many ways and always with the same results: the device beeped for civic, not for 2004 Pilot. It's been returned to Amazon for refund and even though there are multiple sellers, my guess is only one manufacturer; Device ID could matter though, mine was 842435.

The light works but no beeping. It turns on red then green. I though maybe the buzzer didnt work. So I have tried multiple times with the instructions provided, and the one listed in this thread. Without beeps i would wait the period of time between actions. I can hear the fuel pump charge each time i turn the key so I assume im in a quiet enough area. Still have just one key working. I have a different ID number as well. And the keymaker made in china sticker was not applied, just supplied in the bag. I ordered direct from Hong Kong and the seller is not responding.

Interesting. I did not know there was a low cost way to replace the fob internals and program them yourself. Good to know. My wife snapped the body of one of our fob sets. I gave her the good one and epoxied the other as best I could. It held for a while and finally gave out. That is when I got some ebay bodies with key blanks on them. The plan is that you swap your OEM internals and just have to get the key cut. I believe it cost me $35 or so which floored me at the time. I had just gotten a couple keys cut for my Sierra and they were $10 each...which still seems high for a key. Anyway...I know the guy must get that a lot and was an angry little man anyway...but gave me a nasty look and with a huffy voice conveyed to me that it was a high security key. bla bla bla. whatever. I had two of them but decided to only get one cut since the other was still good. I was only doing the second one to have the unmolested fob body...but my wife will terrorize that soon enough...so why bother. Got it cut and forget the process but it worked and synced with the Pilot fine since I had another good key and using the original internals.

Since I already had all my internals (remote fob and immobilizer chip), I didn't need to reprogram the chip. @Sha93 has that blue chip programmer, I believe, so hopefully he can jump in and help out.

That device sounds "defective", since you heard "no beep".. you need to hear the beep(s) to perform the next action correctly..

Just re-sale it on Ebay....... that's what I would do.....

I bought mine from a US seller...... here USA Stock EasyKeyMaker Transponder Replace MPCS/MICU/IMOES Support All Keys Lost | eBay
So, not sure about other Sellers

Manufacturer Part Number: J01USSK244
maybe that Man. # is also an indication.

2003 Pilot, Did not work for me either. After multiple attempts, various methods, and a patronizing conversation with the hong kong "engineers" I took video of operation, or lack thereof, submitted my dispute through PayPal and got every red cent back, even the expedited shipping that they took their sweet time with getting out. I did get it to beep in an 06 civic but it did not do what i needed it to do with my Pilot. I suppose the immobilizer units in the pilots were programmed to deflect the learn sequence from lil cheapos.
