Everything seemed fine but when i play any sound i bearly hear anything even if i put up the unit to the loudest.

As far as i know touring has upgraded audio system with better amplifier and speakers. This is the reason why yours not working properly.

As far as I know - no unless you want to upgrade the whole system. However I might be wrong - i was planning to upgrade my 2016 unit with 2017+ so I did research about it. But I abandoned this idea later.

I doubt it will work. With the Touring and Elite, the head unit sends a low level audio signals to an amp in the passenger footwell, which in turn powers the speakers. The non-Touring/Elite head units have a built-in amp to power the speakers. I'd be happy to buy the head unit if you are looking to sell.

I'm on the same boat. I've been looking for a head unit 2017 and above. But it's been hard finding one the exact same trim as mine. A 2016 awd exl.
