Haha, mine mirror started falling off a shortly after I bought the car. I ended up using epoxy to re-glue so I did not have to deal with dealership
Just posted on this in the other recall thread. There was (seems like there may still be) an issue with curved glass giving a blurry or funhouse effect. Our dealer ultimately had to order 20 just to get a handful normal mirrors to fix ours after 4-5 false starts just as you describe. New recall for 20-21 pilot for side mirrors.2020 Honda Pilot EX-L
Just had mine (attempted). The passenger one was replaced without a hitch, but the driver's side one now looks distorated since the replacement. I drove right back to the dealership and they swapped for another mirror - same issue. The service lady then proceeded to share they've been seeing this a lot lately with some of the mirror work and are still awaiting Honda's response on how to handle them.
Just brought mine for service and they asked if I wanted to take care of this recall. They replaced them and now the driver's side is distorted, blurred, similar to the fun house effect you talked about. The tech says mine is not that bad, but will replace. He said they might have a bad batch. I heard him discuss this with another employee. I had to drive back to the dealer since I noticed after picking up.Just posted on this in the other recall thread. For Post #7 - Given we dealt with ours in late 2021-early 2022, this seems to be more than just a singular bad batch versus ongoing manufacturing/manufacturer challenge.I returned the next day and they went through 5-6 new and still all were warped. I have a trip this weekend, PA -> NC, and thankfully they're giving me a loaner to take for that. Hoping they get this sorted out soon.
