Just to get a feel of the Adjusted Market Value ... or in English ... the premiums your local dealerships are slapping on the PILOT. Here in Honolulu: $4999.00 ... on top of MSRP ... Pretty outrageous ... but the local Chevy dealer has a $9999.00 mark up on their new Trailblazer ... Isn't it absurd ?

Just curious, do all manufacturers, Toyota, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, etc. charge these premiums in Hawaii?

Yes they do ... but with patience you can get out of them. But, again the premiums are only placed on the cars that they can get away with it. When I was back home in Virginia several months ago the dealers there were doing the same thing.
