How reliable is Honda? I had 5 Hondas in the last 10 years, now my 2019 Pilot with 39K miles showed Emission System Problem, the dealer replaced the oil pressure switch (NOT covered by the powertrain warranty), next day after 5 miles started to show Emission System Problem and Transmission System Problem, the dealer states IS NOT related with the previous issue and replaced the Transmission Pressure Sensor (again NOT covered by the Powertrain warranty). What should we expect from Honda??

Well, what do we expect from any auto manufacturer? They produce and sell a vehicle, with a warranty, and they are bound by contract to honor that warranty. Some manufacturers are better than others with warranty claims. Some manufacturers are better than others at making vehicles. Honda has a relatively good history in this regard, although not without some problems.

You have a 2019 Pilot, so it would seem that you have a powertrain warranty in force at this time. I would suggest that you work with your dealer to resolve the issues that you are flagging in your post. If you feel that the dealership is not being straight with you on warranty issues, you have every right to escalate the issue to Honda regional advisor. In fact, you should be able to ask the dealer to help escalate this issue for you.

You seem to be angry with Honda at this point. I have no idea of the specific problems that you have had to deal with. And I would encourage you to seek resolution of the issues with Honda--either with your dealer, or with the regional rep. I would encourage you to work with Honda, and to pressure Honda if necessary. A firm, calm, reasonable demeanor backed up by facts with help you with your claim.

It's very simple to know if it's covered or not. Once the failed part has been identified, the part # and labor operation code are entered into the Honda system, it either says covered or not covered. We print, as proof, the response from the Honda system.
