typical metal scrapping on metal noise, then after a while it would screech after a few miles for maybe 1/4 mile then stop screeching, put it up on a rack and easily identified the noisy bearing , notan easy job to replace....

I have a whine type noise, but it is not always there. Only when I accelerate, but not all the time. It shifts smooth and there is no scraping, or screeching sound. At least not yet.
don't buy a pilot from this man. Wonder if he changes the oil.
You are now going to a different dealer, then, I take it?2003 EX with 147k. Running fine at the moment.
Trans failed and was replaced at 40k due to dealer (Honda) negligence in forgeting to replace fluid after flush.
Differential failed at 130k again due to dealer negligence in changing fluid.
Other than those 2 dealer caused issues and the fact that I get 13 mpg, I've been happy.
