Thought I'd share this info with anyone who will be towing. As the season is over, I pulled the boat (18' center console) on Friday. Boat/motor/trailer/ 65 gal fuel total just under 4,000 lbs. Boat ramp was wet and covered in leaves. Put the Pilot in L1 and engaged VTM. NO PROBLEM. Plenty of torque, pulled boat smoothly up ramp with ample traction and power.:)
As I live just a couple miles from dock, I didn't get a chance to tow down any highways. Had it not been awful weather, I would have done an exit or two, just to see how transmission handled load. My concern is excess shifting, in absence of O/D lockout.
Overall, must say I was pleased with low speed hauling performance.

Cool photo, What a great way to gain power, I didn't realize the Pilot had an option of an S2000 for some extra high rpm PUSH. The beauty of a "dolly arrangement".:D
The only drawback of the extra 240hp is paying for the extra axle at the tolls.
