Interesting.. I have had the problem for over three years now and been to two different dealerships and both were not aware of the problem nor a corrective fix and now I am outside of the warranty.

Do you have paperwork from the visits and the issue they looked at? If so, it may be covered. Definitely worth asking.

I am a DIY guy... I asked a couple of times while in the shop picking up parts and the guys seemed unaware
