FYI - for you serious DIYers out there :25:, the 2003 Honda Pilot Service Manual (p/n 61S9V00, $70) is available from the following site:

http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result....word=&mscsid=UHTV8J1SGBSM8GM76CM4LTARMCDAFU2D

From the item description:
Why Buy Original OEM? Why Helm Publications? Helm only sells manuals written by the manufacturer (Original OEM), designed specifically for your vehicle.
Original OEM Manuals are at least 100% more accurate and complete than any other service information available.
Helm Service Manuals contain thousands of pages of diagnostic and repair information!
These are the same manuals your dealer service center uses so you know you're getting the technical information needed to service and maintain your vehicle.
Helm Manuals include information, diagrams and training.

Anyone Seen the Service Manual yet? (Tim?)

Has anyone seen the Pilot service manual?
Is it complete, or do you need the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual (ETM) to get complete wiring diagrams?
I noticed the Helm does not show a ETM yet. Is one expected?
About to order and do not want to have to pay several handeling charges.
If an ETM is comming I will wait.

Paper or Plastic?

Interesting. It used to be listed as a CD....now it's listed as paper. I'm guessing the CD was a misprint. See previous thread....

http://www.honda-pilot.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=93

I'm interested in getting the manual so I can study speaker replacements....and get a better handle on how to add in a customized RES system.

You may need the ETM

I found the 2002 CR-V manual has almost no wiring information.
Since I have to get an ETM for my CR-V, I am waiting to be sure if I need one or not for the Pilot before I order.

Not sure about the CD. Maybe it was a temporary issue for the dealers who needed something to work from.

Looks like you need an ETM

From what I understand the wiring diagrams are only in the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual (ETM).
Unfourtunatly, it is not published yet.
Hurry up Honda/Helm, I don't want to pay for 2 "handeling charges"!

Always ...

a handy thing to have but $70.00 ... I usually just find a place that sells the book, with coffee in hand, find the information I need and leave ... it's good to have a digital camera too. It's the Borders and/or Barnes and Noble Principle ... " Why buy it when you can go in and read it then just leave ".

Because:

They don't have the factory manual.
The aftermarket manuals are not out yet.
When was the last time you took a digital photo of a page of text and then tried to read it?
