Hello, I don't know if this was discussed before or if there is a solution for this, but I understand the issue with having to transfer bluetooth calls, however what about VOIP calls for example whatsapp, viber, etc? It won't let me transfer the call to the car's bluetooth at all, is there any solution to that? Does the 2017 pilot have that issue as well or is installing the 2017 head unit could resolve this?

Not sure what exactly your issue is but I have this, when dial from a phone, it does not go through the car speakers. My work around is this, dial from the phone and then stop the call, then go to car display and redial, it works.

Since you mention VOIP you are using the internet data connection for calls not the cell voice facility.
My suspicion is that the phones are wired/programmed differently for the two different methods. If correct programmers haven't allowed for voip to car BT capacity yet.
It would be interesting to test this theory out further.
