Spent the better part of today touring a few Honda dealers here in Phoenix. Here is what I found:
Honda Cars of Mesa:
$595 over MSRP
$500 deposit (cancel at any time)
the $595 is for their 'protection package' so at least you get something for the extra $$$
Salesman Rating: 4 (out of 5)
Earnhardt Honda:
$500 over MSRP (only through the internet department) $2000 if walk-in
Can't remember the deposit amount
Salesman Rating: 0 (out of 5) liars, rude, and pushy
Right Honda of Scottsdale:
$4995 over MSRP (I'm not joking) I guess they think we are stupid or something.
$500 deposit
Salesman Rating: 2 (out of 5) they guy we were working with was fine until the sales manager didn't think he was pushing us hard enough and started in on us. The other salesmen were pretty agressive.
Showcase Honda:
$999 over MSRP
$500 deposit
Salesman Rating: 2 (out of 5) I stopped counting the number of lies he told me and just left in the middle of the conversation
Hope this helps your shopping.
