Hi,

I have an oil and coolant leak in my 2005 Pilot that seems to be coming from the rear cam cover so I am suspecting a head gasket so I need to do a compression test. The Service Manual says I will need to reset the PCM with the HDS following the test because the fuel injectors will be turned off, but of course I don't have a HDS to do that.

How can I reset this without the HDS? I have seen various possible solutions (remove PGM-FI relay 2, disconnect negative battery line, disconnect both battery lines and short together). Does anyone know for sure what will actually work or a reference section in the Service Manual that I can follow?

Thanks a ton.

Can you get to the injectors to unplug them? On my '04, I'd probably have to take off the intake manifold to get to them, but I'd do it if I had to reach them for a compression check.

I assume the HDS allows you to turn off the injectors to prevent this effort, so it needs a reset to turn them back on?
