I was wondering if anyone knows a ball park figure to get a decent paint job for the roof of my 08 Pilot . Paint is getting dull and changing color, getting a little light surface rust. Thanks!

I'll take a wild guess of $750 at a reputable body shop. If you have a roof rack, pearl paint, or "decent" means "invisible from 5 feet away", could be more.

I would try buffing it with a good compound before you paint. Your clearcoat might be failing on the surface, but still have enough depth to look good again.

If you have rust, do not touch it until it goes into the shop. I mean do not try to wax it or anything like that. The cost depends on the color. I had my silver metallic minivan's roof painted and chips fixed for about $300 US and it is fine after 6 years under Sun.
