I just noticed a small nick on one of my rims. It's deep enough though, such that it's exposing the bare aluminum. Since the rims have a protective clear-coat on them, can I repair this by just cleaning the area thoroughly, then applying the clear-coat from my touch-up pen or is that not suitable for the rims and I need to use something else? Thanks.

What a bummer!!:3:

You might also try clear finger-nail polish if the clear coat you have does not seem to protect the damaged area.

Good luck!
