When I connect my OBD II tool to my 2012 Pilot I get "ERROR" on the screen after about 10 seconds. I never actually connects. I have tested the code reader on other automobiles and it works fine. Any suggestions on what would cause this? I was thinking of a fuse?

Check the condition of the pins, wiring, etc. on the OBD2 connector. Could be corrosion, loose wire, bent pin, etc.

I got around to checking all wiring going into the OB2 port. As far as I can tell everything is in place. I am going to use a friend's code reader to rule mine out as faulty. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I would need to check?

If you have a multimeter perform a resistance check on the fuses. Sometimes the eyeballs don’t see hairline fractures which result in the fuse being an open circuit.
