Hello,
Yes, disabling the VCM will stop the extreme stresses that are being inflicted upon your engine and transmission by running on 3 cylinders, when coasting, or maintaining speed. I prefer my engine to run on all 6 100% of the time. I use S-VCM.
What's your milage?

Mileage is just over 50k. I have been reading about VCM muzzler. How is S-vcm working and have you used other products? S-vcm seems like a better approach.
S-VCM and VCM Muzzler II seem to be the best choices.

I recently installed the VCM Tuner II on our 2020 Pilot with 6300 miles on it. While cruising on the highway at a steady speed the steering wheel had a vibration. Very subtle, but it was there. One thing I learned early on in my chosen profession was that vibration kills. Tuner installed, vibration gone. No more hesitation while the engine reverts back to six cylinders. As far as I can tell my fuel consumption is the same as it was before I installed the Tuner. I like it.
