The built-in Navigation on my 2006 Pilot (EXL with Nav) won't track my movement. When you start the vehicle, everything turns on and the current location is correctly indicated on the screen. However, when I start to drive, the arrow remains fixed on the starting location and will not follow the vehicle's path. Very occasionally (perhaps once every 3-4 miles), it will jump to the current location and remain fixed again at that position. The system has been reset and the disc updated about 3 years ago and was working fine until this sudden change a few months ago.

I have done endless searches online but can't seem to find any potential solutions.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

My guess would be either the connection to the GPS antenna is loose or frayed, or the GPS unit itself is Kaput. For a replacement, I'd look for a much less expensive one in a salvage yard before ordering new OEM online of from a dealership.

Have a look at the document I've attached for you.
