I watched a video on youtube on how to unload the auto tensioner and its telling me for 03-08 pilots, it uses a 14 mm socket. I pop the hood on my car and instead of a bolt i see a slot on where a T bit should be placed :/??? Is it normal for 2008 pilots to use a t bit instead of a bolt to unload the serpentine belt? Help please

Probably been replaced with aftermarket. If you’re unloading the correct fastener should still work as per designed.

Its the pulley thats infront of the powersteering pulley but a little more under it if that makes sense... could it be the bolt fell out?

So all the aftermarket ones on rockauto look like this
142721

torx bolt on the one pulley.. I have 4WD which is a different tensioner so I haven’t touched one of these in real life but I feel like the hex nuts cast into the assembly are probably used to loosen the tensioner.
