Has anyone located a dealer in SoCal that is offering Pilots at MSRP with no forced options? Norm Reeves in Cerritos is at MSRP, but with $2,000 of overpriced options added. I am hoping to find a dealer that will take a deposit for a Sandstone or Sagebrush when they arrive. Thanks for any help.

Merced Honda is selling it at MSRP with no forced options (actually they do force the $89 wheel locks). But availability -- might be another issue. This is about a 2 hour drive east of San Francisco. If you can find one there and put a deposit down, it might not be a bad idea to drive down in your Pilot on delivery !!

I got mine from there from Dave Carmack. If you need to mention my name, send me a PM.

Also you might want to do a search on this forum and find other dealers who may be selling at MSRP in CA.

Good Luck.

I looked all over SoCal for a Pilot at MSRP and could not find one. I remember the Norm Reeves deal, and Sierra Honda in Monrovia did the same (but with less options). I ended up driving up to Bakersfield to Barber Honda and got my Red EX-L for MSRP from Scott Brown.

got MSRP in Socal

I got mine at MSRP from Gardena Honda with no forced option. Fred was the sales person and he was wonderful.

I know Sierra Honda was willing to give me MSRP too.
Sometimes you have to find a right person within a dealership. There are greedy ones and there are fair ones...

Good luck. Also, if you call further inland (victorville, hemet, and etc) you get better deal. Happy shopping.

MSRP in San Diego

I got my EX-L Navi for MSRP w/ free mudflaps and wheel locks at Ball Honda in National City.

Poway Honda wanted $2K over MSRP, so we walked. They called back two weeks later and offered MSRP, but we already had a car.

Try Gardena Honda, and ask for Fred. Tell him you just want MSRP w/o any option, and he will give it to you if he has it. You might have to wait for rare colors thought. work with him and he will come thru.
Also try Sierra Honda and ask for Rudy for same thing.
Hemet and Victorville is other dealers that gives you MSRP.
Good luck, you can get MSRP, keep trying
