Just wondering if it be ok to first spray it with fresh water to remove any salt that managed to splash up in there? Then a WD-40 treatment or some other rust protection?
Sounds like it needs some MaxLife ATF. 😁👍I wonder if there was any exposure to internal transmission components due to this cover missing?
btw, fluid drained looked really dark at 100K on the odometer. I believe it was changed since there were signs that drain bolt has been cracked before. Normal amount ofsludge on the bolt magnet
