I've been running live data with my Autel today on the Pilot to check the tranny temps and looked into Engine data as well. What I've found is that there have been multiple misfires detected on various cylinder. No DTC stored. This has me really puzzled now. Car has 40K miles on it and is very well maintained. Costco gasoline exclusively from the same gas station for the last 3yrs or so. Car idles very well and drives great just as it did day one.

Alright folks, any input on the root cause and what to do with it? thanks team

It's not uncommon to see some misfires here and there. It didn't set a code because the misfires haven't met all the parameters need to set a dtc. Unless you have a dtc, or have a drive ability issue, ignore it.

At a relaxed 2,000 RPM, each cylinder fires 1,000 times per minute. At 40,000 miles, each cylinder will have fired about 68 million times.

All six cylinders will have fired about 400,000,000 times.

17 misfires out of 400,000,000 power strokes = a misfire rate of 0.00000425‬%
