Only 3 Power Racers on the shelf, and one was a Pilot. My wife's gonna think I'm an even bigger geek, now!

I finally found one at Walmart. It was standing by its lonesome in a huge messy pile on the floor.
Now If I can find a Sterling Edition my life would be complete.

I haven't seen a larger Pilot. The only 2 that I have seen are the Wal-Mart kidz collection Power Racer by Maisto & the Maisto Sterling Collection. They are the same scale Pilots.

 

It sure is a Power Racer, still on its yellow "platform."

As I posted before, I have an extra car. I hate to see people paying that much for this. I am willing to part from my extra one for $10.00 which includes shipping to anywhere in USA. I think Kemo was the one that suggested the $10.00 so I will stick with that. If more than one person needs I will try to go to my not so local Walmart and try to find some more.

Not as bad as the winning bid on ebay then, but that is still much.

 

I work in Springfield VA. I stopped by the Wal-Mart there yesterday, they had 4 of the Power Racer Pilots @ $1.97. I bought two of them. They just opened a new Wal-Mart in Burke Va. .. they might have them. (Mrs. Mca3851)

As I recall from other posts, that Sterling Edition was a very limited edition run, maybe 1000 units, that was handed out to Honda employees. Kemosabe would know more, I think, as he has one. They appear on eBay every now and then.

jay is correct (although I'm not sure about the 1,000 units) in his post. You will probably not find the Sterling Collection in any stores -- they were handed out to promote the 2003 Honda Pilot when it was first introduced (if I recall correctly). From time to time, you will find one being auctioned on fleaBay, which is where I purchased mine for the outrageous price of $158.00!!!

 

I looked at my local Super Walmart in Massachusetts and couldn't find one. I'd like to get one for my son for Xmax, so I'll keep looking...
