Several jars of touchup paint and a Testors airbrush kit.

You will also need the right thinner. :2: :2: :2:
A couple hundred bucks worth of stuff from a hobby shop for a $1.97 toy. Might be cheaper to take it to Earl Shibe.:) :D :p :21:

Yeah, an auction that ended at 0300 hrs Eastern Time is a bit awkward for us three hours later than California, eh?

Best regards,

HONDA PILOT METAL DIECAST MAISTO 1:42 SILVER!
eBay Item # 3560652590

One hard to find 1:42 scale metal diecast by Maisto!!! This is one great looking Honda Pilot SUV and the proportions and detailing are great!!! This pullback (motorized) diecast has front opening doors and measures aproximately 4 1/2" long! Comes brand new in an elegant blue/black box with a large display window and Maisto markings! See picture below & see more SUV's in My Ebay Store!!

Looks like a Wal Mart Pilot for those who couldn't find one!

It sure is a Power Racer, still on its yellow "platform."

For those of you still looking, don't give up hope. I went to 5 different Wal Marts, some multiple times, before I got a hit. The next to last place I went had a brand new large box of Power Racers - none missing. I picked through it and found no Pilots. The last place I went to also had a brand new box, and yielded 2 Pilots. I don't know if the mix in a box is random, or there is some logic to it. I did check out several Walgreen's as someone had mentioned. They carry Power Racers also, although I couldn't find a Pilot in the 3 stores I searched.

Got mine today!

I was in WalMart and saw one right on the shelf! Now all I have to do is keep it hidden from my son!

As mentioned in the General Off Topic version of the Maisto model thread, there are about 100 different models in the Power Racer series [http://www.maisto.com/products_toy.asp?id=48].
According to Maisto, the mix in a box is random (I've also seen boxes with more than one Pilot model, but many more with none at all). Maisto also claims that the Pilot was only sold to Wal*Mart and ShopKo. I believe that they've only been sighted at W*M, thus far. We'll have to keep an eye out in case they should happen to appear at K-B, Walgreens or elsewhere.

I found one at lunch this afternoon. I was just walkin' by, minding my own bidness, when I thought 'Hey, lemme check!' :27:

Only 3 Power Racers on the shelf, and one was a Pilot. My wife's gonna think I'm an even bigger geek, now!

Oh well.

Heh!
I finally found one at Walmart. It was standing by its lonesome in a huge messy pile on the floor.
Now If I can find a Sterling Edition my life would be complete.

Question please.
Who makes the larger Pilot I have seen. Is it Maisto? Or someone else? Any ideas where to purchase?
Thanks!

I haven't seen a larger Pilot. The only 2 that I have seen are the Wal-Mart kidz collection Power Racer by Maisto & the Maisto Sterling Collection. They are the same scale Pilots.
