Today for a general oil change service appointment with a local dealer, I was told that my pilot is due for following:

1. Brake Fluid Flush
2. Rear Differential fluid flush
3. Fuel induction service
4. Four Wheel Alignment (I had done the 4 wheel alignment at 15000 already 1 1/2 year ago)

My question: Which services are really needed at 35500 for 2017 AWD pilot and which ones dealer trying to up sale me?

Any guidance?

If you find out the maintenance minder readout and check Honda website you will be able to find out what would be included. Usually it shows A1, B2, or something like that. You go to the website and check out the code, you will find out what needs done.

What does your Maintenance Minder code show?

1. Brake fluid flush: Do it every three years.
2. Rear Differential fluid. First change at 15k then every 30k there on, so next due would be at 45k.
3. Fuel induction service. Just dump in a bottle of Techron. Use only Top Tier gas.
4. 4 wheel alignment: If you are always running up on curbs, or climbing rocks off road then yes. But I don't see a need for it this soon, you already had it done. If buying a set of new tires then maybe yes if unusable tire ware.
