The low pressure tire warning came on again yesterday. I checked all tires this morning and one was down 3 lbs and the others were down 2 psi. I am surprised that that triggered the warning.

Cooler temps tend to lower tire pressure approx 1 psi per ten degree then triggering the tpms. Cold shrinks while warm expands is a good analogy. Might be time to pump them up a bit unless there is a puncture or damage.

Is a 2 or 3 psi drop enough to trigger the sensor?
As stock tire pressure is 32psi when cold, I believe the TPMS triggers when they get to around 28psi. For slightly better fuel economy, on my Pilot I inflated them last to 36psi, so if they hold their pressures, only time that light comes on if there is a puncture.

EDIT: From the 06-08 Service Manual, Section 18-58:
140926

So it triggers when 25psi, and will clear when it exceeds 29psi. I didn't realize the swing was so much. Good to know.
