My 1st sit down with the salesman was the MSRP of 50,240; 2 add-ons (some type of paint protectors) and 2,500 market adjustment and 20,000 trade in for my 2019 EXL w/infotainment system. I told the salesman no addons and no market adjustment. We all know the routine, salesman went off to the sales manager. Well we went back and forth a couple of times and the end result was a) dropped the addons; b) increased my trade in from 20k to 25k; c) would not drop the market adjustment. So the end result was 27,740 (52,740 less 25k trade in).

That trade in value seems little low, I was seeing 2019 EX-L listed for above 35k few months ago. Seems like used market has changed a little but still should have been higher.

does this trim level have ( does the elite have)
digital rearview mirror
front camera or 360 view
thigh support on either driver or passenger
passenger seat adjustments more than 4?
thx
The front passenger seat lacks power lumber even in the Elite (Honda want to differentiate this from MDX), 4-way power seat in passenger versus 10-way power for the driver. Neither front seat has thigh extension, this is common in this class (except Palisade/Telluride).

Received my 2023 sonic grey touring 4 days ago. Have put it thru the paces the ride is excellent, very quiet, transmission smooth as silk. This is my 4th pilot so I certainly have something to compare it to. I traded in my 2019 ex-l up here about 15 miles north of Boston. The 9" screen is great, not to small and not to big. My adult children love it and so does the wife. Filled the tank yesterday the gas station attendant stated to me "Wow" what a beautiful car. In my opinion this car is a major upgrade to the 3rd gen pilots. I tried out the auto stop at traffic lights, it starts so quickly you dont even notice the car starting. I have to small grandchildren that take up the outer 2 seats in the second row with their car seats, as you know you cant push the seats forward to enter the 3rd row but the new removable middle seat easily lifts out out and solves that problem. So would I recommend this car to a friend, ABSOLUTELY.
Thank you for this review. I am seriously contemplating the 2023 Pitt as my next vehicle. This will also be my fourth Pilot, and could not wait for the new styling. All of my prior Pilots have been second generation. You could say I am a Pilot Guy.

I have pilot 2012 touring, and must say I like it, probably like you like yours ;-). Anyway, it's really slow in acceleration from zero. I had before similar size Mitsubishi, and it was much better in starts.
How do you feel in this new model on intersection when you press full throttle? ... is it little more sporty than older models?

I have no problem with mine getting out in the highway scooting over to the left hand lane, the primary highways here in Massachusetts heading into Maine and Hampshire people usually cruise 75 to 85 and yes there speeding but so be it. The State Police can arrest all of us

Thanks for checking!
Well, I just wonder if any of you in reply here have put 190K on your other Pilot’s? My 2007 doesn’t ride very well these days, but the engine still tugs along.
I personally won’t pay that much for a new one, I’ll buy another Ford Explorer XLT, USED, for a stronger Body Frame like I had 2 of before…Toyota next time I can spend the $$$.

A bit off-topic, but does anyone have a sense of how production is progressing relative to expectations? Build date for my order was late March/early April when I placed the deposit in late December. I was told at that time that production had fallen behind early targets.

I heard the same thing from a dealer this week..that they were 2 weeks behind. There is also a problem with shipping by rail. I guess they are desperately short-staffed and cars have been sitting at the plant ready to go for weeks now. Also, for the last month the Honda site had been adding a few cars everyday to the inventory in my area. They haven't added any in the last 10 days or so. Kinda worries me.

Hmmm. Maybe this is why my Elite has just been under "assigned" (to the dealer) status instead of "shipped" for several weeks now. My dealer swears the car has already been built because it has a VIN number but the status is just stuck. Maybe this is because of that rail shipping issue

FYI I also just saw a picture of the incoming orders sheet for 23 Accords from a dealer. There was an "original date" and a "current date" column and everything was like a month later for the "current date" on a bunch of Accords to come....so yeah I guess Honda is running behind. Really crazy.
