Pictures are with the 06 pilot at idle. Check engine light is on to replace both bank 1 and bank 2 cats which I think is inaccurate. has 235k on it.

Let me know if you need more info.
Short term fuel trim bank 1: 14.1
Long term fuel trim bank 1: -1.6

Short term fuel trim bank 2: 9.4
Long term fuel trim bank 2: -9.4

I cleaned the intake air temp sensor, located on the front of the intake manifold. It was BLACK. My numbers are back to normal and may have fixed all of my issues. I’ll hope.


I wiped it off and it was off white. Cleared the codes. Here’s my numbers now at idle:

Short term bank 1: 8%
Long term bank 1: 3%

Short bank 2: 0%
Long term bank 2: -5%

haven’t test driven it yet to change these numbers after code clearing.

Could of this been my problem all along? A dirty sensor?!!
