When I purchased my pilot, they didn't have one with leather seats, so my doesn't have leather.

Does anyone know if there's anyway to get leather seats installed afterwards?? I presume it would cost an arm and a leg...??

What about aftermarket leather seats?? The only problem with that is how do you get around the side-air bags??

I know that someone on this board did a custom leather on their seats. I tried to do a search for you, but there's a problem on the server. Do a search on "aftermarket leather" and I know you will find it. Its a two tone seat, and it looks nice. Pictures included, and I also think he talked about price and the airbags. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Wish I could remember who did it.:(

leather

I am having leather installed by my dealer. Its in Oklahoma City. You should be able to find a dealer in your area that knows someone who can put leather in your Pilot. I'm having mine done for $850 (all seats and side door panels). I was curious as what it would cost so I called the leather company and asked what leather would cost for the pilot. They qouted me $1295 (all seats and side door panels). My auto dealer must get a good price to do it for $850. Hope that helps.

The leather company will take in account for the side air bags.

Heck, if you want leather in your Pilot I've got a pair of old Penny Loafers I'm going to put in the garbage. You can have them for the cost of shipping. Throw those babies under the seat and presto "leather in your Pilot".... I'm going to bed now. Bye :)

Hey loosenut,

Can you look at your second row of seats between the split for me. Check and see if you have what appears to be a strip of leather on the passenger side. My Cloth-EX has it. I previously posted this question but received no replies. Also, if you have a chance can you look at the 3rd row.
Thanks.

I called soft trim for pricing - turns out they are wholesalers - so they told me to call my dealer to get specific info.

Anyone here from the Bay Area that knows a good Honda Dealer with reasonable prices on accessories? The stevens creek honda close to where I'm at charges you an arm and a leg for [email protected]!!

I had read a lot of good things about Classic Soft Trim on the odyclub forum. That was back before you could get factory leather on the Ody.

$850 to fully trim it out is a great price. I think the $1295 price is more what most could expect to pay.

Man I tell ya, I called classic soft trim up - they told me to talk to my local dealers directly. Since then I've probably called 6 dealers around my area - none of them were able to help me. Some said they are not allowed to do it with liability issues with the side air bag issues. Some said the finance department handles it. Basically, for each of the dealership I had to talk to someone in parts which then referred me to service...which then referred me to finance and then in term referred me to service again!! Sheeesh....

Still have yet to be able to get a quote yet...

loosenut, what's your 20. I gotta believe if you have 6 dealers within reachable/reasonable distance you gotta live in a large enough metro area that there are folks doing lots of these jobs... doesn't make sense...

Well I'm willing to drive my car within a reasonable distance to get this leather trim installed.

I actually live in Campbell, CA

I called stevens creek, los gatos honda, Palo Alto, San jose CApitol honda, and Larry hopkins honda.

NOne were helpful at all. Very disappointing...

I hope you laughed really loudly in his ear...

This is probably heresy to suggest, but why don't you check out the odyclub forum and ask the question there... reason is, many ody owners were looking for leather before it was an option. Seating is a little different but not a great deal different.

No offense to this board, it's great!
