After have tried many of the sealants/waxes out there including Zaino, Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket and Blackfire Wet Diamond I have found Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 that I think gives a noticeably superior result. The shine, reflection and the increased depth it gave to the paint was nothing short of amazing. I thought maybe it was my optimism but all my co-workers noticed it. I 've been on this forum many years and not really endorsed any products before but this one I think I might. This is just my humble opinion. If you looking to try a new sealant you may want to take a look at it!

Wolfgang is my favorite as well and I've tried a lot of others. It lasts longer than any of the others that I've tried.

Here's a picture of my TL I did with the same sealant. One the dark color car it easier capture the gloss in a photo. Not he best quality pictures because they were taken with my phone but hopefully they convey the results.

The sealant is very is apply and much easier to take off than a wax. It comes off super easy with very little if no dust. I use microfiber cloth I purchased from Costco to do all the sealant removal. The key any detail is surface preparation. Prior to the sealant I first used a clay bar to remove surface contamination. Then I used a Menzerna polishing/cleaning compound. Then I applied the sealant.

After seeing so many positive posts on paint sealant I just may have to change my ways this winter. I have always liked the shine of a good quality wax... but I am tired of waxing in the cold of winter and sealants claim to last through the winter.

rka4570: The only place I have found the Wolfgang products is at autogeeks, where did you get it from?

autogeeks aka Palm Beach Motoring Accessories is the manufacturer/distributor of the Wolfgang product line and that is where I purchased mine from.

You did a great job. I've never used anything other than wax over the years and am shy about the sealants. I had to strip all the wax off my 2012 Pilot to get the tar and junk off the paint after a drive to Alaska and back this spring, so need to do something soon. Wolfgang products seem to be good quality. Has anyone used Griot's products? It's a Tacoma, WA based company. Also, has anyone used the 6" DA orbital polishers to apply sealant? Thanks for your input.

I finish putting the sealant on the wheels and it really made a difference. Its extremely hard to capture the actual shine and depth of the silver machined faced face but if you look at the darker gray painted surfaces the gloss is evident.

I love detailing.

I too have used and been happy with Zaino products but I'm always looking for something new to try. My big thing is not always just shine (though I've gotten so many comments about my Zaino shine) but also longevity.

Maybe you can post back sometime in 2,4,6,8 months and speak to the longevity of the sealant!

2 month Wolfgang Sealant report

So far after 2 months I am not noticing any degradation of the sealant performance. The surface is still as slick and shiny as the day of application. Water still bead perfectly. I took photos and they look exactly like the initial photos I posted 2 months ago! As a benefit, after applying the sealant to the wheels they seem to be staying cleaner from road and brake dust! So far so good. My co-workers noticed the gloss of my Pilot and several of them actually purchased the sealant.

How do you like Griots all in one sealant? I just purchased it and will use it on my 3 weeks old Pilot. One benefit is that you do not have to use polish first and so cuts on one step. I am looking for decent performance without all the hard work due to limited time I have now.

After 5 months I happy to report the gloss, shine and slick feel of the sealant have not significantly degraded. I reapplied the sealant on one panel to see if there would be a difference and I was not able to detect any difference visually or physically when compared the rest of the Pilot.

Thanks for keeping this updated. I've been doing some reading reently and I think my last bottle of Zaino may be my last bottle. I like to try new things and I REALLY like longevity.

How are you stripping off the wax?
