I haven't tried that yet .. I had so many issues with connectivity between the newish iPhone and the car.
iOS 17.2 was released early yesterday morning, try updating to that, see if any of your symptoms improve, especially for iPhone 15 users. The update fixes few issues with wireless charging including support Qi2 standard.
From I have read, something broke in iOS 17.1.1 for some wireless chargers (mostly GM users complained) while Apple tried to address an NFC and Apple Pay issue for BMW users, there is a link above in the thread speaking to that.
As
@dj2819 said it may not fix our issue.
I would suggest you do the update, remove the case from the iPhone (if you have one), play around to find the sweet spot. Basically try to align the Apple logo with the charging logo. If it shifts back to green move it a few mm either forward or backward in the space. Between changing my case and doing that, and now updating, I have found my experience is improved for the iPhone 14+ and muscle memory has set in.
We won’t get more than 7.5W of charging using Qi, so if you need fast charging for short trips the wireless wouldn’t make sense due to that limitation unless we get 10W or more, MagSafe or wired charging would be better.
