Hi All,

Just wanted to share a problem I encountered and seem to have resolved. In case others run into this issue hopefully this can help them.
So my A/C was acting strange. Some moments its blowing cold air, others its not. Whether stationary or driving the symptoms remained.
Checked that compressor kicks on, fan turns on, freon level is good, everything seems to work but intermittent on/off's on the compressor was my diagnosis.

The issue was the AC Clutch Relay. After a warm day or 10+ minutes of driving. The relay would fail.
I removed it and tested this on my work bench by applying heat and testing the switching function. Once warm, the switch would go wacky and turn on/off
Cooling it down would get it to function again.

Therefore, AC clutch Relay was the problem. Went to advanced and picked one up for 7 bucks.
Didnt feel like spending 23 bucks the dealership wanted.

Hope this can help others.

So the key point being, If you at times have cold air blowing, Obviously your system is charged with freon, and we shouldn't jump to the conclusion that our compressor is bad.
I like $7 fixes!
Thanks for sharing this info. Especially going into to the heat of summer.
