My 2020 pilot has started making a popping noise from the speakers..And the info screen shuts off and on flickers aswell as the front gauge screen. The dealer says they have no fix for this and it is common due to faulty fiber optics. We are about to sue for lemon law if they do not fix or take back the car.Has anyone experienced this and got a positive result?I see hundreds of complaints online but no resolution.

My 2020 had infotainment and speedometer black out 2x in first 300miles. The dealer was very good about fixing and had Honda Field tech come to verify repair and replacement of harness pin connectors. Had issues with dash cracking (which they also fixed after I almost strangled the service manager) as well during the repair. In the end they extended the 3/36 bumper-bumper to match the drivetrain 5/60 warranty and I have had no issues since repair was completed. I believe Honda is tracking this closely and has a real fix at this point to the MOST Bus network system which causes failure. Pilot is very nice but if problems come back we will dump it in a hurry.

What did they do? Did they reroute the harness or did they replace the infotainment?

I agree. The wiring must be a nightmare in there. I've brought my 2020 Elite in multiple times. Screen blacked out after hit a bump in road with Apple Car play running. Dealer says use OEM Apple cable. Static noise in front speakers was solved by reconnecting some harness. Wireless charging on Android phone only works for 10 seconds and then pauses. GPS not detected after one of those wire harness "fixes". Apparently, they left a wire loose..... Wiring routing must be really bad in there, not enough slack, crosstalk of signals or maybe more issues.

Holy Cow!! Honda HQ just hung up on me. I just got my 2020 pilot back after it being in the dealership for a week to correct the wiring harness issue. I called Honda to ask for an extended warranty. The woman was so rude and short with me. She hung up on me! I’m at a loss for words

Get your audio recorder started
Call back, say/inform "This call is being recorded" ( depend if your state require you to INFORM for consent )
Next, request the name and title/position of the person you are talking with, so if they hang up, you will know who it was.

I audio record "most" business transactions...(if there's no email/paper trail of our conversation ) . people have a total different attitude when they are being recorded, especially when they know they are in the wrong.

I was told today by the dealership Honda is coming out with an update on this issue maybe next week. Looks like it’s going back into the shop

I was told by my dealer today it will be end of this month or first of August. I made it 15 total days on a 2020 Pilot Touring before getting what appears to be a dreaded "No audio connection" message. All I had done was completely turn off the radio to speak to someone in the car and then turn it back on. Audio totally dead. I was able to get it back after 2 factory resets and pulling the #29 15A Radio fuse under the hood. I have reported this to my dealer for official record and asked to be kept up to date on the update.

Lots of other posts here are nightmares. Interiors having to be completely stripped for rewiring and such. OMG!

As my username indicates, this is my third (currently owned) Honda Pilot. Starting to really worry over this 2020 just 2 weeks in. Ugh!

I recommend going to the dealership and getting the rewiring and harness. The dash will go black on you. Very dangerous. They had my pilot for almost a week.

We also have a 2020 pilot touring and are having the same problem. Dealer and honda wont do anything about it. There is supposed to be a class action suit against them but I cant find out how to join it yet. Either way we are sueing on lemon law grounds also.

Call Honda . This is a known issue. The dealership had my car for 6 days and provided me with a rental. They know what’s going on. Lemon law won’t do anything. This is a safety issue , when the dashboard goes black. Once I said that... it was an immediate response from the dealership and corporate

Here is the info on the class action suit:
The Honda Odyssey and Pilot infotainment lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division - Lesley Conti and Tom Conti, et al., v. American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
The plaintiffs are represented by Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro, Goldenberg Schneider, LPA, and Niekamp, Weisensell, Mutersbaugh & Mastrantonio, LLP.

I have had my 9K 2020 Elite Pilot in 3 times already to Re-Do or attempt to repair wiring
harnesses, pin connectors and adapters. It appears the real root cause is likely a faulty
wiring harness that has too many ohms of resistance that causes domino effect of system
failures. Driving down the road ALL electronics go black.....radio turns off, NAVI stops working
and also dropped my calls when linked to car phone feature.

Now it is the 4th time that all my systems have failed....HONDA Dealer advise me they now have
4 different connectors that they are working with to resolve the issue....with no guarantees.

Honda is in the midst of a Class Action Law Suit on this one, here in Arizona it qualifies for Lemon
Law Protection according to my conversation with Attorney General yesterday.

Honda Customer Service advised me it may take 2 to 6 months to process my request for BUY BACK.
I have been a Honda customer for 41 years. I worked at Honda Dealer for 11 years...first time I ask
Honda to help me they basically are blowing me off. Getting ready to divorce Honda and switch to Hyundai.
