Just thought I would share. My 2021 Pilot had the infotainment cracking after like 200 miles, TSB 20-058. Once it started it was all the time. Took to the dealer, they said I did not need to demonstrate the issue, they know about it. They had it for a day and did the FAKRA work only on the front and gave it back to me. When I picked it up, I drove for one minute and could still hear static. I brought it back and demonstrated it for the tech. Then they had the car for two more days. Had to involve Honda Tech Line and District Manager. I guess my 2021 SE did not call for doing the rear connectors, they said based on my VIN. So they took it all apart again, redid all crimps, did the rear and now it seems fixed. They spent plus nine hours I am told. The advisor said Honda is not paying the tech for the extra warranty time needed and the dealer will have to eat this cost. Wow. Luckily, I have a long time friend Service Advisor who took great care of me.

I bought a 2021 Pilot EX-L AWD on March. I took it for first maintenance service at 6,000 miles on August 5 and noticed that the infotainment has the same issues described as popping cracking sounds even when audio is off and nothing is playing. I will take it to the dealer. Thanks for your postings. I will update my issue after dealer visit.

My daughter's 2020 Pilot Elite has had this issue since new. The dealer is not much help. They claim that it is "fixed" but the problem persists. Does anyone have a suggestion about which step she and her husband should take next. Very frustrating, considering it's a $50K + vehicle. District manager? American Honda? Phone numbers would be a great help. Thanks much!
