hi all,
I'm noob to this forum.
I'm in the market for 2012-2013 Pilot but hesitate a little bit due to the recalls.
There are 9 or more recalls for the Pilot within these years.
Some of them are for airbag and propeller shaft which is my major concern.
What do you guys think?
Does the recall still in affect?
Thanks.

8 of those recalls are dealing with air bags. Swaping these out for new ones is not a vehicle reliability issue. The other recall is on the vent shut float (VSF) valve case in the fuel tank assembly does not meet the designed specification. Recalls that can be resolved don't concern me. It's quite common among all auto makers. If you buy any vehicle, simply make sure the recall service has been performed. All I can say is this Piloteers forum can be very helpful in keeping your vehicle running in the best possible way. Lots of people here know these vehicles inside and out. If you got a problem, your likely to find the fix here to DIY.

I think just about every automaker was affected by the airbag recall, so that shouldn't matter to your decision, since you're gonna see that with whatever brand you look at.
