Need information on how to remove this connector (first image), located near engine. The second image is upper connector near firewall, I'm able to remove that one.

IIRC, you push on those 2 tabs, and it slips off?

May I ask why you are removing your fuel line?

throw the plastic piece towards you
just squeeze and twist the two hoses in the opposite direction and it comes out. be patient, by hand. Remember to wear gloves. do that in the morning, before you start the car so you don't get fuel all over the place and cause an accident
