I have a 2019 Pilot that I bought, used, several months ago.

Recently we had a significant problem where the doors automatically locked us out, with the key fob in the car. Ultimately an expensive locksmith visit was required.

I would like to permanently disable this feature where the doors lock automatically.

I have read the manual to see how to disable it, but the instructions I found were confusing. Nonetheless I tried disabling this feature, but it’s still active.

Is there a way to disable this permanently?
