Since I'm really into detailing, but this area of the forum seems a bit lacking, I thought I'd try to breathe some life into it! So, how often does everyone clean and detail their cars? Post some pics of them when they're all shiny and clean! Detailing is another important aspect of preventative maintenance, and keeps your Pilots in good condition!

I try to wash and vacuum once a week in the nice months, and then hit it with quick detailer. About once a month I use a synthetic quick wax on it. It gets a full decontamination and wax twice a year. If it needs polishing at that time too it will get that, but doesn't always require that. The interior gets a full steam cleaning of the carpet, seats, and trim. I use mainly all Meguiars Detailers line of products.

I agree, detailing is a very important part of maintenance.

I wash mine about once a week, maybe less in the colder months. Vacuum, clean windows and wipe down the dash about once / month. I do a full detail with clay bar & Zaino polish about 3-4 times per year. I just did my fall detail last week, and my Pilot looks amazing. We went to a cabin last weekend with some friends who just purchased a 2014 Infiniti QX60. A big rain storm came through and afterward, my Pilot with 30,000 miles and a fresh coat of Zaino, was shining much nicer than their 2 week old Infiniti.

DMG, your "whip" looks sweet !! Nice Job w/the detail. Like most of the replies, I wash once a week, wax every two months, full detail once a month !! I use primarily Chemical Guys/ Griot's Garage chemicals, these guys have awesome products for a reasonable price.

If you aren't waiting for the maintenance minder code to pop up, some of you are just wasting time and money. ;-)

I use to go with the McGuire's Gold but tried the Mother's with wax for a quick wash and am really impressed with the results. A good wax job once a year and bird**** removal usually asap.

-I TRY to wash every 2 weeks when it's not cold (gets vacuumed once/month)
-LSP gets put on every 4-6 months depending on what it is (has Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant on currently).
-Clay once/year

I need to vacuum more often as my 9-yr old daughter is pretty messy.

My Pilot is a 2009 with 125K on it and I'm the original owner. The pictures below are from about a week ago when I gave it a good wash, then waxed it Zymol cleaner carnuba wax followed by a second layer of Wolfgang "deep gloss" pain sealant (I also use Klasse sometimes too). I try to do this a minimum of 3 times per year, I also do a lot of in between mini detailing with simple detail spray waxes after a wash. I wash it about 2 - 3 times per month depending on weather. Hard to see in the pictures, but the Pilot still looks new and has a great shine. The techs at my local dealership have even commented on the condition. The car is garaged at home and at work so that really helps keep it clean. I also give the leather a good cleaning about once per year, especially the drivers seat. I use a degreaser to clean the leather and then Zymol leather conditioner. After 125k miles the driver seat stills looks as good as the passenger seat.

Hope everyone has a safe and fun New Years! :)
