Judging by responses to my couple of threads and peoples comments, the Pilot is going to be one high mileage vehicle.

Noticed one Piloteer has 2500 miles already, another shooting for 200K miles and this is only the first summer!

We too plan on a long term relationship with our "Pirate".

Picked ours up on June 8th and now have 3300 trouble free miles.

Just turned 3100 on our Black EX-L. Still thinking about what oil to use. I plan on changing it pretty quick. I'm thinking on going with the Castrol 5-30. Anyone heard anything bad about the Castrol 5-30?

Purchased 6/3/02 (first day allegedly available) 3515 miles and first oil change yesterday 8/9/02 (free since I attended the dealer's new car clinic where they show you the service area and let you look under cars like yours and ask mechanics questions). I expect to do about 16,000 a year, but put a few on fast since I enjoy driving it and showing it off.

Since 8/10/02 - 1,095 miles....but it was in the autobody shop for 4 days getting a new hood....got a love it when fence's fall on your 4 day old...or new...vehicle....boy was I PI$$....I meen mad!! hahaha...the shop did a great job though!!

1,300 since 8/15/2. Most of the mileage are from vacations (Utah and SoCal).

I drive the Pilot only 2-3 days a week. Might be averaging 400 miles a month if I do not take long trips. Is driving too little bad for a vehicle?
