I noticed yesterday and today were really bad. I think it may be the volume.

 

I have the same problem the past few days.

 

Has anybody else had problems lately loading HondaPilot.org? Sometimes when I click on a link, the screen goes white and won't load. Sometimes it loads after I hit the refresh button. Problem seems to go away after a while. Is not affecting any other tabs in browser. Everything else is fine, jsut my beloved HP.Org. Are the servers getting bogged down under the load maybe? :8:

Slow loading due to Heavy traffic & volume database

Yes, I have same problem in couple weeks ago, Pilot.org can't browser through no more or nothing pop up.

As per my little computers experience, I could tell the loading problem due to:

1) Volume traffic, means a lot of user loading at the same time especially during 6:00 pm - 8:00 (Eastern central time).

2) The sever database store too many files of discussion and pictures that haven't deleted or clean out during too many years

3) If sever need to keep all the records and pictures for years, need to be upgraded (bigger hard drive storage or faster processor and network equipment) hee.. Hee... in other words need more cost and need more sponsor and contributions $$$. It's good to sorting all database out and keep in order, thus the program load faster...

It's been a problem for me for a while now, even before the rotating Pilot pics, from a variety of machines using several different browsers.

When I experience the problem, I just jump over to clublexus and hang with the snooty peeps for a while.

true that... it does load a bit faster after I adblocked the gallery pics. (also gives me more room to view the threads).

The only Mac problem is all those Windows people asking how to get rid of those viruses, worms, etc. The answer is simple
(1) Get a computer
(2) Get a computer that works.
Solution for both - buy a Mac.

Seriously, it has just been announced that over a million Windows users have bought a Mac this year. I personally would never go back. There is no reason to and a million reasons to not.
