I FINALLY picked up my new Evergreen Pearl Pilot EX-L (or to be more accurate my dealer delivered it to me). My dealer got it on via a dealer trade with another dealer close to their location. I know....I know....most dealers won't bother with a dealer trade on such a popular vehicle, but I've got a fantastic dealer/salesman. My salesman told me this morning that the other dealer had put on pinstriping. I instantly started to worry about my perfect Pilot being corrupted by a mediocre pinstriping job....I couldn't have been more wrong. It's a tan pinstriping (which matches the interior beautifully) and it "breaks" near the door for a Honda emblem. It must be a Honda option I hadn't heard of. And it looks GREAT!!!! After I install all my options, I'll take some digital photos of it and post it on this site. I put on my rear mud flaps tonight before it got dark....this weekend I'll install the running boards, backup sensors, "under-seat" CD changer, and the crossbars.

P.S. If you're ANYWHERE near Rochester, NY....do yourself a favor and buy from Holtz Honda. They are the biggest dealer in the area by far....but they act exactly the opposite. They are very reasonable on pricing (of course I payed MSRP on this Pilot), and will go way out of their way to get you in the car you want. A couple of days ago, they had my second choice (Redrock Pearl EX-L) on the lot, and my salesman didn't try to talk me into it. He knew I wanted Evergreen Pearl over the Redrock, so he concentrated on getting me that. All the other local dealers here will try to force Pilots on you that they KNOW you don't want. Yeah I belive pin striping looks good on some auto's.We are getting ours done by "Sid- Did- It" he does all of his by hand, I can't wait!!!

Hey, Pilotless, are you listening?!? NJ was pretty darn close to NY back with I was pursuing my public education!

Thanks pjl56. Didn't realize I was so high on your list....LOL. I'm not sure if so many people are happy for me....or just tired of hearing me whine that I didn't have one yet. I think my wife loves it almost as much as I do.
