We closely watched the release online. The rear views do look very much like a pilot, the front looks better.
We have been very disappointed with the transmission behavior on our 2016 pilot and are actively planning to make a trade in the new year. My big concern is going with another first-year model & incurring all the glitches that come along with it.
Our current thought process is to get a 2018 Infiniti QX60 (a model that has had been around long enough to have the kinks worked out, does not have a 9 speed tranny, no push-button shifter, nor auto start/stop nonsense- all are annoyances with the Pilot).
Keep that for as long as it pleases us & watch how the Subaru Ascent performs in the reviews for the first couple model years.
