I noticed that my Honda Pilot's interior lights had just shut off on when I unlocked it for the first time today.

That was weird. So after driving for a bit, I stopped, and thought I'd try recording it. And after the car was completely turned off, it briefly powered up again. The ignition did not start, but it turned on, as if I had pushed the start button. I have keyless start, so I unlocked it (which as far as I know, disables that feature--it only works when the car is locked).

And sure enough, it randomly started turning on and off. I captured it on video. But forum rules prevent me from posting it here.

Any suggestions? I get the feeling this could at least be draining the battery.

Thank you!

If the behavior is easily reproducible start pulling fuses one at a time. This could help isolate which system is causing the problem. Then you could dig deeper into that circuit.

Also check the wiring on the remote start control box, especially where its wires tap into the factory harness. Also check the ground connection from that control box where it connects to the chasis.
