Please, does anyone know the reason why my 'Brake Lamp' indicator has been on lately? It normally doesn't come up like this. And if I need to top up the brake fluid, is it DOT 3 or DOT 4? I have been seeing these two types on Amazon. Thanks.

From the Owner's Manual:
Brake Lamp Indicator
If a brake light does not work, the
indicator comes on
BRAKE LAMP
when you push the brake pedal with
the ignition switch in the ON (II)
position.
A burned out brake light is a hazard
when drivers behind you cannot tell
you are braking. Have your brake
lights repaired right away.
So check your brake lamps (it's easier if you can have someone back there to look when you press on the brake pedal), and replace any burned out lamps.

If you don’t have someone to help you out, back up against a wall (easier at night) and look for the side with the missing red glow.

And look for the side marker lights in the rear as well. Owners manual is always a great resource for proper fluid spec

Thanks a lot. I just checked as you advised; the right lamp is gone. Thanks.
