I guess I’m not on the same platform…. We just use Google maps, or Waze. I had that problem on our 2017, and was able to update it ONCE.

 

I've updated my maps twice via the USB stick route. I was lucky both times, each update downloaded without issue and updated in the car the first time. The initial USB download takes a while, over an hour each time, and the update in the car takes over half an hour.

Where in the process are you having a problem?

It seemed that for the update from USB to work I needed to also be connected to WIFI to complete some form of validation (map info vs my VIN?).

I have since been using WAZE exclusively for map and traffic info. The Honda mapping implementation doesn't include speed limits and relies on their speed limit sign detection. And I find the native traffic updates are not much use locally.

When the trial expires I will continue the Honda Link remote services, but wouldn't purchase map updates
