Hi guys :) This is my first post. As you can see, I am to young to own a Pilot or any other car:mad:, but I am a big fan of it (and every other Honda/Acura model).

I was a serious car nut at age 10.....but that was back in 1981, and think about what I had to be enthusiastic about!

Cadillac Seville Diesels :headshak:
Chevrolet Citation X-11 :headshak:
the new Ford Escort :headshak:
and the K-Car LeBaron was just on the horizon :headshak:

Better to be a 10 year old car nut today! :D

Well, okay, there was one car that I thought was cool in 1976... the Ford Gran Torino used by two detectives: Starksy & Hutch....:22:

While I too, had visions of driving Starsky's car. My best friend's parents bought a red Ford Torino, while the show was still on. We tried to get them to paint a white stripe on it, but to no avail.

This is the car that I longed for, for as long as I can remember. Still do. Maybe someday.

Pic of Mustang...
NOW we're talkin'! I had a brand spankin' new 1970 Mach1 351. Those of you who remember that year of cars - It was the green with black trim. It was my 3rd Mustang. Two '66's prior to the Mach1! I remember the sticker on the Mach was $4,200.00. :10:

Sage - My first new car was a 69 Mach 1 with a high performance 390. It was dark green. Within the first 100 miles noticed was using oil and found some of it in the radiator. Took Ford 45 days to get a replacemnt engine and then had problems with it. Ultimately Ford gave me my $ back Sure would like to have it now even with the problems. It ate up those bumble bees!
