I Picked up my Pilot from David Hobbs Honda In Glendale. Everything went smoothly. I love my my truck. I traded in my '99 Passport on it ,what a world of difference. In November I went in to trade it (Passport) for a CR-V, and the salesmen there told me that there was possably a new "Honda- built" truck coming out in the summer. So I waited on getting the CR-V and in the beginning of January I put money down on the Pilot. First on the list :) . Those 6 months took forever, it was worse after the auto shows cause then I knew what it looked like and I still couldn't have it for 3 more monthes. Well the wait was well worth it. This is the best honda I have owned yet!

I bet.........

So is yours the white pilot?
I used to deal with Hobbs (for 7 years) then I switched to Boyland because the old manager of Hobbs (John Smith) is there.
Glad to hear you got your pilot and you aer happy!

Congrats mugen660 and HELLO from Appleton! :31:

Our Pilot should arrive in a few weeks but for now we're anxiously waiting. :20:

Looking forward to the roomy interior (a Civic and an Integra in our stable now) and that AWD in the lovely Wisconsin snow.

Cheese :D

Bring on the snow!

Thank you Cheesehead for bringing that up, .......SNOW! I cant wait. There is nothing better than All-Wheel drive in the snow. I used to have a Audi Turbo Quattro, and I would take the days off work when it would snow, and if it would snow at night I would go out driving untill the plows came out. There is just somthing about sliding around a corner with all four wheels spinning and having complete control (well almost complete control:eek: ). Im sure there is a few people out here that can relate!?

Snow!

Feels weird to be talking about snow at the end of June, but I also am looking forward to zooming around in the fluffy white stuff!

Purchased my Redrock EX-L from Honda City (we're in Brookfield). We just had new neibors move in down the street and they have a Black EX-L with the chrome bumper garnish. Anyone from these posts?

Best SUV out there IMHO. Except for MAYBE the MDX, but I decided that utility was more important than luxury (and $7,000 for "stuff")!!!!!

Happy Piloting!

Sorry but I can't say with any enthusiam that I look forward to the snow. If it were up to me the Southwest would be my home but the wife likes the change of seasons. I keep explaining that there are mountains if you want to see some snow but that just doesn't seem to convince her. :3:

Here in Appleton the snow plowing is pretty good but the surrounding communities wait until the snow STOPS to begin plowing :14: so the Pilot will come in very handy.

I don't know if I'll be pulling any power slides around corners in the Pilot but more power to you :)

Cheese :D

Green with envy

Hey, I'm from Madison... I just test drove a black EX today and loved it! Unfortunatley I won't be in any position to take home a new Pilot for about a year so I'll just have to hang back and live through you guys.

We finally got our Pilot two days ago in Appleton. I haven't seen any others on the road around here yet. It is trouble free thus far. No window scrunching, left side clicks, leaking washer nozzles. The only thing I have noticed is a lot of brake dust buildup on the wheels. I think the dealer sprayed the dealer with armor-all when they sprayed the tires. INSTANT BRAKE DUST MAGNET :14:

We're racking up the miles (52 as of today :D ) and have been driving around just to drive. We LOVE it! Yes, we have Pilotitis. :20: :20:

I better just quit while I'm ahead. I can't type, I can't think, and I can't spell. Not good.

The Pilotitis is getting to me.

I cleaned and wiped the wheels off and could tell that they had sprayed them with some sort of slimy sticky stuff. My rag was BLACK. I seem to have gotten them squeaky clean and after driving around the buildup seems to be much less. :D

Greetings from Milwaukee's South Side

Hello all. I'm glad to see that there's so much enthusiasm out there for the new Pilot. I won't be buying one anytime soon, but my parents may replace my mom's end-of-lease Civic with one.

I've got a '98 CR-V that I absolutely love, along with my '00 Insight and the good old '88 Civic LX sedan with 240k miles! I love Hondas!

I'm interested in seeing what kind of modifications people do to their Pilots. I'd LOVE to see one rockin' some 20's!:D

I've managed to squeeze a rather huge audio system into my tiny little Insight, what will you guys do with your Pilots' audio systems? I doubt that anyone with NAV or factory DVD will be changing much, but someone like me who'd opt for the factory nothin-fancy would be able to go with a kickin' setup. I'd love to see a Kenwood NAV/DVD player with back seat LCDs and a couple of 12s! Anyway, I'll quite rambling about that.

For those of you who haven't experienced snow with the AWD, yes it is totally fun. My brother also has a CR-V and we're always tearing around in the fresh powder!

Sorry. I meant 20" rims. Which would of course be summertime only!
