Not necessarily. In the 2017 vintage, it was only the Elite model which came with ventilated seats in the front, in addition to heated seats in first and second rows of seating.
It is a great feature for long drives in the summer. It keeps your back dry and cool.
Honda’s approach simply pushes air through the seat perforations. It sure cools the skin via evaporation, but it does not technically cool the air. Ford uses a thermoelectric engine (Peltier heatsink), which does actually cool the air. I’ve experienced both, and ventilation alone is effective enough to love the feature.
