Has anyone seen a Havasu Blue Pilot sitting next to a Havasu Blue Odyssey? Originally, I thought the Havasu Blue looked great....in pictures. But when I actualy saw a Havasu Blue Odyssey in person, I couldn't believe how light it was. If the Havasu Blue on the Pilot is the same as the Odyssey, it'd be hard for me to imagine it looking nice. Thanks.

I've seen the Havasu Blue Pilot. IMHO, it doesn't look very good, but the dealer, while agreeing with my opinion, said that people are just buying the cars and not concerned with color. The one I saw on Saturday was already sold. The color is light and similar to that shown in the brochure.

Mine will Be Havasu Blue

I saw an LX, but will be getting an EX-L.
Also saw an MDX.
It is an OK color. Not as nice as some of the other Honda light blue metalics/pearls over the years.
It is fairly light and has less green tinted than most of the on-line photos show.
I guess it is one of those colors that looks very different under different lighting.
In bright sun, it is a very light blue/silver. This is when it looks best (IMHO).
Evening it looks light blue/green.
It is definetly a light color, not as deep as the light blue on the S2000 (my personla choice) or as the Blue/Green on the Civic (Way too green for me).

We first went to the dealership choosing beetween the metalic silver and redrock pearl but when we saw the havasu blue for the first time ---> ... picking it up tomorrow. can't wait :2:

You should check it out again and ignore the advice of your salesman... a little hint: .. he only cares about selling a car and agreeing with your opinion...heh.. you should look at it in the bright light and in the darker light ... the color changes slightly but looks awsome both ways...


p.s. When I first saw my Havasu Pilot I told my dealer I loved it and he quickly agreed that people were crazy about that color.

Havasu Blue

Not my favorite color in a bigger vehicle, I did see a civic hybrid in almost the same color, and it did look nice. Anyway, there were 2 havasu blue pilot's (I believe one is an EXL and I'm not sure about the other) sitting at MSRP with no add-ons at Ed Martin Honda in Indianapolis right now for anyone who likes the color, and may be in the area looking for one.

Colors

My inderstanding is a color by one name is the same on all vehicles, at least for the same year.
The differences people see perception rather than actual differences.
Havasu Blue looks very different in different lighting conditions.
I have personaly seen Odysseys, Pilots, and MDXs in it.

I almost bought the Havasu Blue

I'm been looking for an EX-RES...preferably in EP (green) or RP (red). I keep finding BP (black) and SM (silver) EX-RES (in stock) but nothing I want. I did find a dealer on Saturday that had the EX-RES in HB (havasu blue)....and I almost bought it. I'm just not sure I can see myself driving that color for 9 or 10 yrs. My EP will be in early next month....I hate to wait that long....but it'll be worth it in the end.

Havasu Blue

Finally saw an MDX in Havasu Blue on the street. Made me glad I had the opportunity to cancel my order for one in favor of my Starlight Silver Pilot. I thought from the brochure it would be one of those silver-in-one-light, just-a-hint-of-grey-blue-in-another-light colors. Instead it reminded me of a slightly lighter take on that powder blue we remember from the earliest Accords

We picked ours up on Saturday

We picked up our Havasu Blue EXL-NAV on Saturday. My wife and I both love the color! I believe it is the same as on the Odyssey. It looks very different in various lighting. Most of the time it has a green tint but at night it looks silver-blue. So far I like all of the colors that it takes on!

After only two days of ownership I can say that we are both pleasantly surprised. My wife did not like the styling from the pictures that she saw, but found it much more to her liking in person. I find it to be everything I expected and then some.

We were trying to decide between an MDX and a Pilot and I believe that we made the right choice. The MDX is a great vehicle but IMHO the Pilot is a better overall value.

The HB on the Oddyssey is the same color.
We got a HB Pilot EX, I like the color better than the others currently available.
Our Pilot was parked next to a HB Oddy, I didn't like it on the Oddy (too much color without being broken up).

I would have preffered the blue/green on the 96 or so Accords.
