The Irish and non-Irish alike often celebrate this day by lifting a mug or two of green brew or whatever else contributes to the general merriment.

Just don't forget to take good care of your Pilots and more importantly, YOURSELVES, by celebrating responsibly!:7:

(This public service announcement is brought to you by ZIPLOC. It is also my birthday today, so I will be encouraging my well wishers to take it easy!!!)

Darn!!! Now, I'm green with envy!!! Kinda makes me feel sad and blue. Am I brown nosing too much? Does that make you see red? I know the answer may not be black or white because there's a little gray area. Orange you glad I'm such a comedian??? <img src="http://mywebpages.comcast.net/kemosabe/smilies/sweat.gif">

Yes, a WHOLE YEAR has clicked off the dang calendar again! And I still don't have anything green to wear, which is surely shameful for a St. Patrick's Day baby!!! After your little cartoon about Rudy and friends, Kemo, I don't think I'll make the green underwear claim, either. ;)

But, I may get in a little green yet today. No, not money, but green beer at a local watering hole tonite after work. [Note to MD/DC/VA locals: If you've never tried Roy's Place in Gaithersburg (MD), you're missing a truly unusual local "landmark." Main claim to fame: an oversized menu of over 100 sandwiches, each going by an unusual name invented by "Roy" himself. Some tables just order one selection for everyone--the 2-foot-tall Bender Schmender--but I'll stick with my usual Flying Floss, washed down by whatever's on draft, as long as it's green!]

Anyway Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone, and Erin go bragh!

Three years ago today, my wife and I went into the Honda dealership set on a Silver Accord. We drove out with a Green CR-V. To our amazement, the color was Clover Green. What a coincidence!!

Kind of early to be drinking all of that green beer isn't it? :2:

Around here, we call St. Pats day "Amateur Day".

All the people who think they are Irish on St. Pats, try to drink like an Irishman....

The results are ugly!!!

Yes, I love Roy's Place and it's highly recommended by another local yokel (me)... :4:
