Yah being CHRISTmas and all, it should be the star (or PIAs) in the east that lead the wise men (okay women Piloteer's too if any in the GTA) to the birth place of the Pilot. Are there any stables where we could meet?? Okay, enough of the sacrelidge!!!:soapbox: I better stop before I get the:werd: label of the group! or this guy's:ucrazy: .

I have contacted the salesperson I bought my Pilot from, he asked to send email to the sales department for the request, and I did. Hopefully they will come up with some free gifts to support our event.

I have asked Mike688 about his schedule to meet, and he can definitely make it in our planned dates. Mike688, you should post some response yourself, lazy boy! :yodaddy: :headslap:

OK, I forgot you mentioned Sunday! Lets see Dec 4, Sunday, 12:00 noon. Trying to decide a good location with

1. shopping mall with lots of free parking, so we can line up our Pilots and take shots.

2. to handle bad weather, the parking lot can have covered area, and also good for taking pictures for Pilots with head lights on. :2:

3. also close to good restaurant so we can sit down, chat and have fun! :7:

I am considering Yorkdale Shopping Mall, since it has lots of free parking spots, especially in the N/W corner. But the covered parking is not in the same corner, and the restaurants Pickel Barrel and Milestones are not the same corner either.

Any other suggestions?

Hi, to all piloteers DEC 4 will be ok a good day for now. I hope nothing happens and i can most likely show up. By the way the yorkdale parking lot might be full because of the Christmas season shopping, what if that happens where are we gonna park..

Yorkdale is madness at Christmas time, but the covered parking is good on a bad weather day. Then again people may stay away on a nasty, but not us, right?

If Yorkdale Mall is bad choice in Dec, one of my friends told me to try 401 and Kennedy, last time Mazda3 fans in Toronto had meeting in that location. Lots of parking, restaurants close by. I am not too familiar with that place, will check more details when I get chance.

Yes, lots of places to eat near there. But no indoor parking. Easy to get to as well.

talked to Mike688 about the location, he is going to drive and check the area around 401/Kennedy, see if there is any restaurant and lots of parking there. Also he suggested some other locations, such as Scarborough Town Centre with covered parking (but it might be the same case with Yorkdale Mall, bad parking for Christmas shopping), or mcdonalds at Finch and mccowan, lots of parking there, it is also close to highway, so folks driving to Toronto can access easily (driving north from Scarborough Town Centre).

What do you guys think? I will keep you guys posted with the result from Mike688's investigation.

Boy oh boy, it's sounding like I should start my trek now to get to Kennedy/401:roadtrip:

If I'm Piloting a Pilot by the time of the meet and greet I will come out.

However I'm not expecting delivery until mid december.

I'd like to thank donx for alerting me to this thread and invitation to join the gathering. My work requires me to travel these days so I have too much stuff to look after during the weekend, not to mention my family. So may be some other time. You guys have fun!
